THE FIRST-PHONE MOMENT
More freedom. Not everything.
Walking home from school. Going to football. Meeting a friend. Popping to the shop.
There comes a point when being able to call or message home starts to make sense. Not because they need everything a smartphone can do. Because they’re ready to do more on their own.
Useful when they need it. Easy to put down when they don’t.

Not a toy pretending to be a phone. Not an adult smartphone with everything switched off. Pip is designed around the things children will actually use — their friends, their photos, their Missions and a look they can make their own. A proper first phone, with boundaries chosen by you.

Charcoal, cream or yellow. A simple case or something bolder. Pip is designed to feel like their phone, not the compromise phone.
Choose colours, cases and themes that suit them now — and change the look as their tastes change.
Because growing up means changing your mind. A lot.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
Why I’m building Pip.
Why I’m building Pip.
Why I’m building Pip.
My family is getting to the age where the world starts opening up a little. Walking places on their own. Spending more time with friends. Wanting a bit more freedom. And with that comes the first-phone conversation.
You can hand them an adult smartphone with more access than they need, or a device so restricted it barely feels like their own. I started building Pip because I think there should be another option.
A real first phone with useful communication, a camera, their own style and boundaries chosen by parents. And something more: Missions that encourage children to create, explore and do things in the real world instead of spending their time endlessly scrolling.
Pip is still being built. The design, features and final price aren't fixed yet, and I want parents to help me get them right. That's why I'm inviting you in early.
